As a certified diver, who hasn’t dived for some time, and wants or needs a tune-up to remember the dive skills you learned earlier in your dive career, this course is perfect for you. This refresher includes instructional time first out of the water, then in a calm water setting, before a one tank boat dive at the reef.
1 confined water session + 1 Minidive Mayday
Located on Isla Bastimentos, Red Frog Beach is a wonderfully mellow white-sand beach. Red Frog is backed by portions of thick rainforest which extend in some places all the way to the water, creating secluded alcoves that are perfect for couples or families who would like a bit of privacy.
The sea here tends to be rough, making for less than ideal swimming conditions. However, a far-reaching sandbar ten meters off-shore creates a calmer area with restaurants and bars. Not surprisingly, Red Frog Beach is one of the best places in Panama to catch site of the amphibian for which the beach is named. These poison-dart frogs are both beautiful and rare, but with the right pair of eyes (or the help of your captain), you may be able to spot one hiding beneath the leaves or sitting on a tree.
You reach the beach by a well-maintained jungle path and on the way you can see a tons of wildlife (sloth, caimans, red frogs, monkeys...).
IMPORTANT: There is a $5 fee to pay in cash at the entrance as it's located in the national park
