Welcome to a profound journey that invites you to immerse yourself in the vibrant traditions of Black culture in the heart of Mexico City. This Be HUEmane experience will allow you to connect with the rich tapestry of African heritage and explore the depths of this unique celebration.

Our journey will focus on the cultural significance of Dia de los Muertos (Day of the Dead, All Souls' Day). During this time, we'll celebrate the lives of our ancestors with vibrant ofrendas, sugar skull artistry, and the rhythmic beats of Afro-Mexican music.

But this trip isn't just about observing; it's about becoming a part of this sacred tradition. You'll have the chance to create your own ofrenda, learn the art of sugar skull decorating with an Afro-Mexican twist, and share stories with locals about their ancestors.

As we navigate the city, you'll feel the energy and spirit that permeate the air during this time of year. Our journey will take us to cemeteries adorned with marigolds and candles, where we'll join families in commemorating their loved ones.

This Dia de los Muertos experience is not just about celebrating life and death; it's about cherishing our heritage and appreciating the continuity of our culture in all its forms.

1. Are there shot requirements or recommendations for travel to Mexico?

There are currently no required vaccinations for travel. However, requirements may change at the discretion of the country. Please stay updated by following the U.S. Department of State's guidance for travel to Mexico before your trip.

2. How much is travel insurance or is it already included in the price?

Travel insurance pricing varies based on the selected option. Once your down payment is received, you'll receive a travel insurance quote from Alliance with your buy-in options.

3. When is the first deposit due?

The deposit is due at the time of receipt, and pricing is subject to change until a down payment is received and booking information is completed.

4. Is my deposit refundable?

Down payments are nonrefundable. Please see the terms and conditions before booking.

5. What is the unit of pricing?

Pricing is per person based on double occupancy unless single occupancy is selected

6. What airport do you fly into?

You fly in and out of Mexico City International Airport Benito Juárez .
